About Us

Barry Hines is the owner and manager of Shake and Stir.  He recently moved from Wilton, CT with his wife Leslie to Richmond, VA where they have begun the “Grandparent” chapter in the book of life.  Older daughter Emma and husband Will have lived in Richmond since college and they are the proud parents of two little girls. Middle son, Niall married Richmond girl Laura in October 2021. https://www.brides.com/wedding-ferris-wheel-virginia-7091745 Youngest son Dylan visits often from Chicago to keep tabs on his nieces.

Donna Oliveri runs the operations out of her home in Watertown, CT.  She has handled all of the bar service, ordering, transportation, and essentially the reputation of Shake and Stir.  She is the straw that stirs the drink.  She does all of this while maintaining a full-time job and parenting two lovely daughters Julia and Ava, who you can often find behind the bar. She oversees a staff of 8 bartenders, all of whom have worked regularly for Shake and Stir.

Joe Plescia founded Shake and Stir Bar Trucks and 2016 and built these bars with his own two hands! He sold the majority of the business to Barry in 2019. He currently is running Success Printing in Shelton, CT and he lives in Milford.
